These pants are medium weight with a soft, fleece lining. They run LARGE for nominal size: big in the waist--which can be compensated for by tying the drawstring tighter--and long in the inseam. I am a long-legged 5'10" and the size "medium" is still long and loose on me--out of the box.

Perhaps with a good, hot washing they will shrink actually to fit me.

Also, the drawstring looks thin, prone to break under hard tugging.
